"The Great Gatsby" Directed by Baz Lurhmann is currently the most anticipated movie of 2013. Lurhmann has taken on an incredibly difficult task, but given his previous movies (such as Moulin Rouge and Australia) I am confident it will live up to it’s hype. Not to mention, he has a stacked cast with Leonardo DiCaprio as Jay Gatsby, Carey Mulligan as Daisey Buchanan, Tobey Maguire as Nick Carraway. Those are just the main characters. I am particulary excited to ses Isla Fisher’s performance as Tom Buchanan’s mistress, Myrtle Wilson. She has been given qestionable roles in the past (such as Confessions of a Shopaholic), giving her a chance to impress the moive industry. Unfortunatelry it is not coming out until May 2013, but until then I would reccomend reading the book and expect greatness.
“We often used to do a lot of things together, because people were very interested in him and I think we felt safe together. He was very sensitive. He didn’t always have a sense of performance in his everyday life. He knew who he was. For such a serious actor as Heath was, he was crazy funny. Dark funny, but funny.” — Jake Gyllenhaal
